How much does a Self Assessment accountant cost?

Fees depend on how many income sources you have, for example self-employment, rental properties or foreign income. Use our fee calculator for an estimate, or book a free call for a fixed fee.

Do I need to file a Self Assessment tax return?

You usually need to file if you are self-employed with income over £1,000, a landlord, a company director with untaxed income such as dividends, or have untaxed income such as foreign income or capital gains.

What is Making Tax Digital for Income Tax?

From April 2026, sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000 must keep digital records and send quarterly updates to HMRC. The threshold falls to £30,000 from April 2027. We set up the software and file the updates for you.

I missed the deadline. Can you help?

Yes. We can file late returns, work out what you owe and help you appeal penalties where you have a reasonable excuse.
